Are you a member of a balloon sports group, a balloon club or an air sports association and would like to take a look behind the scenes of the oldest aviation event?
This gives you the opportunity to get very close to the drivers, teams, officials and the entire starting field.

The Gordon Bennett Pilot’s Lounge is the meeting point for all air sports enthusiasts for the gas balloon world championship in the long-distance discipline. Immediately after filling the gas balloons, we will allow you access to the launch site and you will have the opportunity to take a look inside the baskets of the World Championship participants. At the launch you will be in the front row at the launch podium and are invited to the James Gordon Bennett Party in the Pilot's Lounge afterwards (only if the launch is on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening until 9 pm).
You will receive the official pin for the event and your access wristband at the accreditation desk.
If the event is canceled due to force majeure or for reasons of air traffic safety, there is no entitlement to a refund of the admission price.
Facts:
- 25 Euro per person, children up to 13 years free of charge
- One event pin and one access wristband per person
- Admission to the James Gordon Bennett Party in the Pilot's Lounge (only for a start on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening until 9 pm)
